Three civilians have been killed by a suicide bomber in Maiduguri, Borno State.
Eyewitness accounts report that an improvised explosive device targeting the Joint military Task Force (JTF) by a suicide bomber, killing himself and three civilians.
Confirming the incident, JTF spokesman Lt. Col. Sagir Musa reveals that the explosion occurred at about one o’clock this afternoon, and that besides the dead ones, two others were also wounded.
In the meantime, the JTF has dismissed as propaganda, publications being circulated by members of the Islamist sect, Boko Haram, it has not declared any ceasefire.
